STEM Prep Tutoring was founded in 2020 by Oluwatoyin Kode in Landover, Prince George’s County, with a clear mission: to provide affordable, high-quality tutoring and academic mentoring for students who are struggling—or at risk of falling behind.
Our goal is to give children in underserved and minority communities the opportunity to strengthen their Math and English Language Arts (ELA) skills and compete academically with students from top school districts across the United States and even affluent communities abroad.
STEM Prep Tutoring was established on a simple but powerful belief: academic excellence should never be reserved for students from wealthy families alone.
We are committed to closing achievement gaps and creating real opportunities for students to succeed—regardless of background.
