1. Payment Policy
Tuition payments are due every Monday for the upcoming week of instruction.
A grace period of five (5) business days is allowed for delayed payments. Failure to settle outstanding balances within the grace period may result in suspension of services and access to the student dashboard.
All payments are non-refundable once sessions are confirmed.
2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
If your child cannot attend a scheduled session, please cancel via our mobile app. Alternatively, you may notify us in advance via email: stemcollegeprep23@gmail.com
• Missed sessions with at least 12 hours’ notice will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
• Missed sessions without prior notice (no-shows) are not guaranteed to be rescheduled and may be billed.
• You may also book ad-hoc make-up sessions through our mobile app, subject to tutor availability.
Cancellation of tutoring services by either party requires a minimum of five (5) business days’ written notice.
3. Lateness Policy
It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that the student logs in promptly at the scheduled time.
• Each tutoring session lasts one hour.
• In the event of excused tardiness (technical issues, emergencies), we may extend the session by up to 15 minutes at our discretion, based on tutor availability.
• Unexcused tardiness exceeding 15 minutes may result in a forfeited session.
4. Academic Monitoring (Grade Book)
To enable targeted academic support, parents are required to upload or share the student’s updated grade book or academic performance report each week.
A detailed progress report will be issued by STEM Prep Tutoring at the end of each month.
5. Homework Completion
To reinforce concepts and maximize academic gains, all assigned homework must be completed by the student before the next session.
We encourage parental involvement and recommend positive reinforcement strategies (e.g., small rewards) to maintain motivation and accountability.
6. Holiday Tutoring Policy
Academic consistency matters. We strongly recommend students continue with reduced-hour tutoring sessions during school holidays to retain learning momentum.
Special holiday packages or time adjustments may be available upon request.
7. Parent Cooperation & Student Motivation
Your active support is vital to your child’s success. We expect cooperation in the following areas:
• Ensuring timely login for sessions
• Prompt payment of tuition
• Supporting homework completion
• Providing up-to-date academic records
• Maintaining communication with tutors and support staff
8. Class Recording Authorization
By signing this agreement, you authorize STEM Prep Tutoring to record all live class sessions for instructional, quality assurance, and training purposes.
• STEM Prep Tutoring retains full ownership rights to all video recordings.
• Recordings may be made available to parents upon request within 24 hours of the class session.
• Video recordings are available for a fee of $5 per session, payable upon request.
• Recordings for closed or suspended classes will only remain accessible for 48 hours after the session.
9. Agreement Acknowledgment
This agreement will remain in effect until either party provides a written cancellation notice, subject to the 5-business-day policy outlined above.
